Impressive! Peter has created a map, which he has ambitiously labled as the 'start of a Q2 mission pack'. If this is just the start, I'm hungry for more! The map is fairly small, but big on gameplay. Peter takes a minimalist approach. The whole level is completed with only a shotgun to aid you. Ammo and health are sparse (but enough), with most health arriving via the +2 bottles. This is a constant motion, 'edge of your seat' map... a perfect flow generated by excellent placement of items. The minimal approach is the downside of this map as well. Architecture was lacking in flair, and more ambient sounds would have really added to the atmosphere. Lighting is well implemented, however, and it's easy to overlook the bland architecture with gameplay this good. Highly recommended map here, with hopefully more to come. I'd like to see Peter add some more flair, more movement in the scenery and some added detail work would push this effort up even higher in the ratings.
