Serberus has done all the Classic Quake afficionados a huge favor. These conversions are all that I could ask for in a remake. All of his choices were right on the money - and nearly every texture and sound is faithfully reproduced. GLQuake never looked this good. Despite my extreme familiarity with these maps - I was surprised to find myself challenged, and even killed a time or two as I played. Thank you Serberus - these maps were great fun, and enjoyed them thoroughly.
Hint to players: Unzip the files to the root harddrive directory (C:\ in most cases), and as it unzips it will create the needed dir's and put all the files in the right places. Be sure to download ALL 3 maps, as they share textures, and as you exit a map it puts you into the next.
