the summary
octabase was a map that started out as an exercise in quake2 mapping - yet ended up being released.
the level is solidly built - and free from bugs, but that's about it. it's mostly a romp through lots and lots of hallways
with plentiful strogg popping up to try and stop you. there are over 100 strogg to fight here, yet with the incredibly
overabundant supply of +25 health boxes scattered about, it's a very simple task to complete the entire thing in under 15
minutes. if you must play every spq2 - or are horribly craving some fast action, then download away, otherwise wait for something
a bit more exciting to come along.
