Earth Emabassy has a great story to get you involved, and the map is simply beautiful. The prison area is well crafted, and the outdoor area is nicely done as well. The real gem of the map is the Embassy itself, which uses most of my favorite textures, and features some very attractive architecture. The entire level is quite realistic, and fun to explore. There are enough 'out of the way' items to make exploration rewarding, and the secrets are very clever and well made. Unfortunately, amidst all these good looks the gameplay is nowhere to be found. The biggest problem I saw was the Strogg placements. Since many of the Guards are encountered with their backs to you, a single shotgun blast takes them down, with no challenge or damage to the player. Even when they do get a chance to fight back, you usually encounter them alone, and one-on-one fighting is never too much of a challenge for most Spq2 players. Despite the high Strogg count I was never in danger, and I never got any satisfactory action. Botton Line: This map is great to look at and fun to explore, but provides little action or challenge to thrill you.
