This is a 3 map single player experience that should not be missed. The first map is small, but sets the stage well. The action starts immediately as blaster fire is headed straight at you seconds into map. Next, you descend into the second map, a large, well designed experience that would be a good entry on it's own. Colored lighting is used effectively throughout, and architecture is well crafted, though not awe-inspiring. Gameplay is tough, and I needed several re-starts to get through this map. The final map is beautifully done, and a pleasure to admire. I had a real tough time taking on 4 of the Quake2's hardest challenges, one after another! All in all, Mike has a well made game here. He throws a few curves at you, adds a cool surprise or two, and keeps you in the game from start to finish.
